Kathryn Shay - Kathryn Shay has authored more than 34 romance novels, including 24 for Harlequin and 10 for Berkley Publishing Group. she's known for her powerful characterizations - and has many writing awards to her credit.

First Pages - A panel of editors and published authors will read your manuscript's first pages - sign up when you register first come, first serve!

Screenwriting

Ken Vose - Pennsylvania screenwriter Ken Vose has more than 25 years in film and television as an editor, writer, producer, and director.

Bonnie Culver - Bonnie Culver has plays produced from New York to Los Angeles. She's the co-founder and director of Wilkes University Creative Writing Program.

Science Fiction / Fantasy

Joshua Palmatier - Joshua is the author of the trilogy The Skewed Throne, The Cracked Throne, and The Vacant Throne - with more science fiction/fantasy novels to come.

Patricia Barnes-Svarney - Author Patricia Barnes-Svarney has written more than 20 fiction books for Star Trek, Sabrina, and Alex Mack, and over 20 science books for adults and children.

Romance

Rhonda Penders - Founder and editor of The Wild Rose Press, will talk about the state of romance - and e-publishing - today.

Kathryn Shay - Author Kathryn Shay will talk about her experience as a romance writer and answer your questions about publishing romance.

Young Adult

Diane Martineau - Artist and author Diane Martineau is a former elementary school art teacher and the author of the children's novel The Wall on 7th Street.

Starr LaTronica - Starr is well-known for talks on young adult writing. She's a librarian for the Four County Library system and was once the chair for the Newbery Awards.

Registration is limited and must be received by August 31, 2009. it may close earlier if registration reaches the attendance limit.
